Transmitter is a continuation of the sensor, which is one element of the process control system. In transmitter maintenance it is necessary to calibrate. Calibration activity itself is an activity to ensure that the instrument we calibrate is in accordance with the standardized (actual) measuring instrument value, whether it is zero, span, and linearity.

Transmitter Calibration aims to ensure the percentage of valve opening and closing in accordance with the desired results (according to the data sheet). If in the process later the system/DCS orders the valve to open 25%, then the device must open 25%, and so on up to 100%. If DCS wants 25% open but the device is < 25% then we will recalibrate.
