Air Audit
Kategori : COMPRESS AIR PURIFICATION
Performing a compressed air audit of your system is the first step in determining issues that could be hindering your unit's efficiency and increasing unnecessary energy costs. There are several levels of compressed air audits that can be performed – direct assessments, systems assessments, or full systems audits.
- Direct Evaluation
This process typically takes up to 2 days and includes an overview of the industrial compressed air system, including distribution system analysis to check for leaks, pressure drops, and compressor sizing issues. The compressed air system will be mapped, and findings reports and solutions will be proposed.
- System Rating
For a more thorough overview, a systems assessment is available which includes searches as well as readings collected to identify system dynamics. Compressed air system mapping will show pressure and demand profile. Report findings and proposed solutions will be provided at the end of the assessment.
- System Audit
The systems audit is the most comprehensive review and takes approximately 3 to 10 days with little or no impact on current procedures. Full compressed air system audit includes:
• Energy usage data logging – records the energy consumed by the air compressor.
• Air metering – identify actual compressed air demand and plant operating schedule.
• Air leak detection & control – identify how much air is lost due to leaks.
• Air quality – measures the number of particulates in the air system such as water and oil.
• Maintenance review – assesses the effectiveness of the current maintenance plan.
• Monitoring & control program – making recommendations to maintain optimal efficiency.
Audit Benefits: With audits, Industry can see improvements in energy efficiency and system reliability and see opportunities for lower operating costs. Performing an audit of your system can help you identify sources of energy wastage.
